A special treat

The Hamburg fish market takes place every Sunday early in the morning. Up to 70,000 visitors flock there for a variety of reasons. Some have been out on the Reeperbahn all night and come here for a last drink or a morning coffee, while others have breakfast or do their shopping here.

There is a very special atmosphere between the market criers and the other stalls. From fish rolls to fruit, flowers, sweets and even textiles, there is plenty to discover and a very special Sunday morning to be had. In the fish auction hall pictured in the photo, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast with live music in the gallery and watch the hustle and bustle of the numerous stalls on the ground floor.
