Hafencity
The Hamburg Docklands
In the new Hafen City, apartments, hotels, office buildings, shops, schools and universities, as well as an underground station, are being built on an area of approximately 150 hectares that formerly belonged to Hamburg’s free port.
In addition to its diverse architectural styles, Hafen City offers a wide range of leisure and recreational activities.
The Magellan and Marco Polo terraces, as well as Sandtor and Kaiserkai, are home to many cafés, bars and restaurants waiting to be discovered.
Überseeboulevard is a wonderful place to stroll, and the International Maritime Museum awaits you on Koreastraße. Here you can learn about the history of seafaring through the centuries to the present day with over 35,000 exhibits. Lohsepark invites you to take a trip into nature with over 60 fruit trees.
